We will not be holding regular meetings again for the summer, due to vacations, sports, summer camp, canoe trip, etc. The meetings will resume after school starts.

Troop 396 is located in Bethel , Ohio

The Troop has a long history and support from it's Charter, Bethel Church of Christ, The Village of Bethel and Pack 196.

Boy Scouting is a fun and exciting program to get involved wtih. Scouts can be as involved with the troop as they want to be. Some Scouts join to journey up the ladder of ranks to one day earn their Eagle rank, and some Scouts join to hang out with friends, go on fun campouts and other adventures, and to get involved with helping the community. Any of these are fine reasons to be part of Boy Scouting.

Troop 396 is a "Scout-lead troop", with supervision of the adult leadership. This means that the Scouts have control of what they want to do (and don't want to do) in the troop.
